One thing to remember when trying to ID along with appearance is bird behavior.
For instance, woodpeckers (and piciformes in general) will often be found perching in a very specific way as seen in this picture, their bodies verticle with their feet grasping in front of their bodies.

There's little else that has quite those head streaks.

The tail's pretty close to spot on none the less.
Personally I'm partial to the original actually, the metal in the background acts to almost showcase the titmouse by encapsulating it.

I actually was brought here looking for a field guide program for windows mobile, and decided I kinda liked the company 'round the forums, so stuck around.
