I have a few pictures sitting around that I'm still not sure on. They are all different individuals (or at least all seen at different times, on different dates, although in the same place; the last two could be the same bird, for all I know) seen in PA. Seen Feb 19, May 11, and May 19, respectively. The overall size and tail barring make me think ...

I don't wish to be offensive, just hopefully helpful. Forgetting for the moment whether or not it would be legal to be in possession of a young mockingbird, bringing it to a wildlife rehabilitator is probably his best bet for survival. Below is a link to a list of Georgia wildlife rehabilitators. Hopefully you can find one somewhat near you. ...

I was thinking it's just a Song, but the fine streaking that doesn't converge into a central breast spot and the lack of dark lateral throat stripes are throwing me for a loop, though I can't find anything that matches better.

I'm still fairly new to birding, but it looks to be a Red-Shouldered Hawk. =)

He was incessantly making this rattlesnake-like sound. (mp3 attatched) It doesn't match House Wren sounds on Cornell's ''All About Birds'', but it does match the description of ''House Wrens make a variety of harsh sounds: churrs, chatters, rattles, and scolds.''
Thanks for your help. =)
