Funny you should say Kestral! I saw this one at work! Raced down the entire length of the barn to grab my camera then all the way back just in time to snap this not so great shot! He did stay around for a couple of hours though, I hope he comes back on a nicer day!

I was thrilled to see this guy while my hunny and I where out the other day! I was even more thrilled when he allowed us to get REALLY REALLY close to him. I spent the next 20 min., just admirering the site of him!

Snow Goose! Thats great. They are really pretty! Here's another shot of my white mallard (haha)! Its amazing how much they look alike other than the color!

Are the white birds in ''sandylee's'' picture ''Pekin (domestic) ducks? They too look big to me? Geeese maybe? What type?

I couldn't believe what I found yesterday. I have seen many hybrid mallards and when I saw this one thats what I thought it was. HOWEVER, other than the color it was identical to the other mallards that it was with and he even had a ''normal'' female with him! What do you think!

I love this thread! Great Egret, Black-crowned Night Heron and Ring Billed Gull. (There was a great blue nearby but he wouldn't come to the family party for the picture!!!!!)
