You mentioned that you provide liquid year round. I assume this is a bird bath? I have read in a number of places that having a bird bath (especially with running water) is the best way to attract new species of birds. I've just put a new one up recently - I hope it works.  Good luck to you!

I had a couple visit my feeder in Pensacola, FL for a few weeks.  They ARE beautiful! (And my search for their identity led me to this forum :) )

How cool! I can't imagine seeing anything like that just outside a hotel room. I like the second one best - you get a hint of morning sun color.
