Yeah, coincidentally, today I saw a group of black-colored birds (about 30), and they consisted of Brewer's Blackbirds, RW Blackbirds, and Starlings (and I believe there were a couple of BH Cowbirds in there as well) so I guess your huge flock could be a combo of several species.
