I believe you're right. I only had two choices in my book and the range was wrong for both of them. It was a guess at best. Thanks for the help.

It sure looks like one, but I'm no expert. Here's a picture of what I think is an Oak Titmouse that I took in Bandera, Texas last year. Do they look somewhat alike??? Linda.

I'm actually out in Marble Falls. I'm hoping that it's far enough ''out there'' that I'll see some of these painted buntings. I'll keep an eye out for them. Actually, I'm so new and inexperienced at this that it's hard to tell any of the females...they're all gray!! Except the Lady Cardinals. No mistaking them. ...
