    Thanks.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I looked at the wren pictures, but none of them appeared to have stripes on the top of the head like the bird I saw.&nbsp;&nbsp; The wrens seemed to have side eye stripes. But, I only got a quick look and will check again.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

    Thanks.&nbsp; I haven't seen a male red-winged blackbird, and this bird is smaller than that.

    The bird I've seen on this nest is a small brown bird with light and dark stripes on the head.&nbsp;&nbsp; The nest is about 1.5 feet off the ground, in thick grass.&nbsp;&nbsp; The nest is in the corner of my vegetable garden, and uses some old tomato cages and stakes for support.&nbsp; I found&nbsp;the nest&nbsp;when I went looking for some ...
