&lt;P&gt;I don't know whether&amp;nbsp;these birds were feeding in numbers...the few times I have noticed the little bird that skitters away on the ground, at most, there might have been two other birds near him/her and I'm not sure whether they were the same as the skitterer or not. I suppose Sparrows eat just about everything, so that this little bird&amp;nbsp;feeding beneath the Finch feeders doesn't mean much.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We're&amp;nbsp;not in a subdivision per se, but on 14 acres of what remains&amp;nbsp;of my Dad's farm.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;My&amp;nbsp;husband took a photo of a little bird that MAY&amp;nbsp;be or at least very similar to the little bird. I will post it. ASAP.&lt;/P&gt;
