The first downy woodpecker I've seen in our yard. Fuzzy, but there. He kept moving around, imagine that! (October 2008)

I posted pictures of the two Downy Woodpeckers I saw a few days ago in the BJ's Pics gallery.
The birds were traveling/feeding together but they were both male. One may have been slightly larger than the other but since they were never perched side-by-side and never still for many seconds at a time, it's hard to say.
