A very foggy evening shooting Heron's. This one was very close to the road...just rolled down my window and snap, snap, snap.

A Great Blue Heron stands along a lake shore.

This wonderful bird visited our vacation beach house daily. Back in May 07 we stayed very near a bird rehabilitation facility in Indian Rocks Beach, FL and had some interesting visitors .

Taking a couple of steps after landing seems to be okay for large birds anyway!! LOL
