Central NJ, This bird has been coming to my back yard since mid April,
it's about 11 inches long, (larger than a CatBird) it has long brown legs, a head like a
Savannah Sparrow and chest markings like a Starling. I can't figure
out if it's a thrush or a hybrid mix? Would appreciate help.

Las Vegas, Nevada.
This bird is larger than the dozens of morning doves I feed in my backyard and
considerably meaner. It looks similar to the morning doves but has a collard
neck. Don't think it's a pigeon. Any ideas? http://www.whatbird.com/forums/photos/southern_nevada/picture37101.aspx

we found these birds in our roof and had to move them as we were fixing the roof. we are trying to find out what they are because we are going to take them to a rehabilitator tomorrow but they won't live through the night without food. i'd like to know what food they need but need to know what they are first! lol

Can anyone tell what bird this one is?
Photo was taken in Orange county, CA in April.
It was at just another park with a small lake in residential area.
There were mallards, domestic ducks, geese, American coots, a couple of muscovy ducks and such around there.
Thank you!

We are in Belmont, California (ZIP code 94002), which is approximately 20 miles south of San Francisco; the area is identified as a Coastal Oak Community. The ''Expert Guide'' on this site ...
