If anyone can give me some idea of who this bird might be I would really appreciate the help. This bird and I spotted (startled) each other at the same time. He barely touched the branch and took off. I had been photographing sparrows and couldn't focus fast enough to get a good shot of the big guy. The photos are way out of focus so any ideas ...

Central NJ, This bird has been coming to my back yard since mid April, it's about 11 inches long, (larger than a CatBird) it has long brown legs, a head like a Savannah Sparrow and chest markings like a Starling.  I can't figure out if it's a thrush or a hybrid mix?   Would appreciate help.

we found these birds in our roof and had to move them as we were fixing the roof.  we are trying to find out what they are because we are going to take them to a rehabilitator tomorrow but they won't live through the night without food.  i'd like to know what food they need but need to know what they are first! lol

Can anyone tell what bird this one is? Photo was taken in Orange county, CA in April. It was at just another park with a small lake in residential area. There were mallards, domestic ducks, geese, American coots, a couple of muscovy ducks and such around there.  Thank you!
