Just one of my close ups, this is a nice young red shouldered hawk that I caught on my camera!

Same osprey as sitting on the pole, flew off after about two minutes of posing for us, and I managed to snap this as he flew to another post. We did not persue but did enjoy watching him devour his repast! Beautiful birds of prey!

Sometimes confused with bald eagles - easier to do while in flight - this raptor is sometimes called ''fish eagle'' because it's main diet is fish. Fantastic bird to watch, flies, glides, dives and sits with a certain regal bearing!

Still think this raptor is beautiful, despite the ''Moe hairdo'' of feathers on it's head. Thought to be the national bird of Mexico by many, they are not, the golden eagle is. They are now fairly rare in U.S., but still seen once in a while here in Fl (and Texas too).
