Hi Folks, My brother took a photo of this bird, Franklin County Missouri, near Meramec River, 2 hours out of St louis.  Photo Is attached. Can't tell if camera shifted the color. Thank you fo the help.

Maybe a junanile?  I don't see the line near his eye. 

He was hanging out with several house finch, but I have never seen one with yellow like that.  What do you think?   Taken in Kansas.  Tia
