Sighted this bird in Central New York on 6/19/08. I'm really new at this and it's much more difficult than I thought it would be! Seems like this might be a Thrush? Thanks for any help!

Unknown accipiter --can anyone give clues without a photo? Its solid medium gray underside and lack of underside barring or streaking has us puzzled.

I saw a bird in the Yucatan that was the exact shape and size of a bare-throated tiger heron. It did not have a bare throat. It had a yellow throat with bars resembling a ladder. I have a couple of birds that come to visit in my tree that look exactly like a Stellar Jay except for the coloring. They are grey, have a top crop, banded wings and a bit of blue on the wings and tail. They also sound like a Stellar Jay.
