Hi all!  Great site!  I don't have a picture YET but I'm on a mission to find out what kind of hawk this may be.  Everything I have seen points to a Rufous morph of a Broadwing.  BUT this guy is HUGE. From my vantage point at the time I was just above when he flew by. He hangs out in a culvert for a run off creek right out ...

I was taking pictures of some very noisy blue jays hiding in a bush when this beauty landed VERY nearby on a fence!  The lighting was pretty crappy and I was shaking with excitement, so my pictures aren't as sharp as possible...  Would love to have some help IDing this guy/gal.  I think it might be a sharp shinned hawk - ...

Hi, I saw this raptor on the 2nd of Feb in Ridgefield OR. Could this be a Rough Legged Hawk?
