I'm interested in knowing what would cause a Northern Mockingbird to have either 1) An infected eye or 2) Simply no eyes at all ? In the last week, I've come across two (2) different Northern Mockingbirds within two miles range of each other and both of them had no eyes. The entire eye area was black and looked dry, crusty, and simply ''rotten'' ...
