Pink-footed Shearwater: Large shearwater, gray-brown upperparts, white underparts, mottled brown flanks and undertail coverts. Head is gray-brown and pink bill is tipped with black. Flight feathers are dark-bordered and underwing coverts are mottled gray. Alternates slow wing beats with low glides.

Parkinson's Petrel: Medium to large seabird with overall black or dark brown plumage. It has a yellow-white bill with a black tip, black legs and feet, and a medium length tail. Has powerful flight with slow flapping followed by long glides on long wings.

Providence Petrel: Medium-sized, gray-brown seabird with black spot in front of eye, gray-white on front and around base of bill, and gray-white mottling on belly. Long, pointed wings are gray-brown on top of primaries and gray-white on underside of primaries and secondaries. Medium-length rounded tail. Sexes and juvenile similar.
