  1. Gulls

These pictures were taken two days ago in downtown Toronto by the lake. I am wondering about all the white gulls in the pics (two in the back in second pic). Are they all Icelandic or any Glaucous? And also the last two pics, Herring gulls or something else? Thank you.
  2. That looks about right. Thanks very much guy_incognito!
  3. This photo was taken March 22, 2017 in Manuel Antonio NP, Costa Rica. I have this bird left unidentified and any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Coopers or Sharp-shinned

Thank you very much for everyone's help!
  5. Coopers or Sharp-shinned

I was originally thinking Sharp-shinned but now am leaning more towards Coopers because of what appears to be a more rounded tail and relatively larger head and feet...
  6. These photos were taken today in Newmarket, Ontario. Another Coopers or Sharp-shinned question. I have not fully nailed down my skills separating these species yet and I would like some help and other opinions identifying this bird. Thank you.
  7. Falcon?

    Thanks Curlew!
  8. Falcon?

That was my second guess. Thanks MerMaeve!
  9. Falcon?

Hello, this photo was taken today at Cranberry Marsh in Whitby, ON, on Lake Ontario. I was thinking Peregrine Falcon, now I am not sure. I attached the photo as it is for a size comparison and the second one is cropped. Thanks for any help.

Hello, I am having trouble identifying this bird. It was taken yesterday in Parry Sound, Ontario, in a small area of open water. It was alone with 4 Mallards nearby and had some white under the wings when it flew a short distance. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  13. Ducks?

    Thank you!
  14. Lincoln's?

I'm thinking Song but wait to confirm...
  15. Ducks?

Hello, This picture was taken today on Lake Simcoe in Ontario. Sorry for the bad quality!! It was taken of a raft of approximately 300 mostly Greater Scaup, about 400 ft from shore and is highly cropped. I am mostly wondering about bird in the top left as I believe the rest to be scaup unless anyone sees anything different. Any help would be appreciated despite the image quality, thank you!
