  1. I do think I have the answer now - I believe this is a female fulvous-crested tanager. The fit is quite good. I would appreciate any backups! Jim
  2. I'm not finding this bird that I photographed outside Kourou French Guiana on January 1st 2018. The location was along the Montagne des Singes trail which is within a few kilometers of the coast at an elevation of less than 100 meters. Right now the closest match I've found is a gray-headed tanager and if so this might be a female or maybe a juvenile? Thanks, Jim
