  1. Greetings, everyone. Last month, that is, 10th of February, 2018, a tree in my yard was felled by a worker and I ended up with three little bird chicks, which the worker guy said must be common Kingfisher. But now, as of today, the 9th of March, 2018, they are showing greenish color on their feathers and I am not sure what kind of birds they are. I am sorry to say that the chicks are in a sad state, due to my inept feeding, and I do not know how to clean them either. I am trying to raise them up until they are able to fly away but of late, their feathers are falling off and they look kind of bald. I have been feeding them with baby food and pieces of fish (anchovy bits). Unfortunately, there are no bird rescue folk near me nor are the vets at the vet hospital sure about what kind of birds they are. I will enclose a few pics, hoping that one of you folk might be able to tell me what the birds are and what to feed them. Thank you. Any and all help in getting these little guys to grow up and fly free would be wonderful.
