  1. Hi! I'm taking an ornithology class, and every week we have a "challenge" question. This week the question is an image of droppings, and the challenge is to ID the species and sex that produced both samples. I've never heard of being able to ID birds from their excrement, so I was hoping someone here could offer some pointers. All I know about the images is both are from a N. American Galliform. From my understanding, both are from the same species, but one is male and the other female.
