  1. Hey folks, I'm a cinema sound designer, and I always jump on here when I need help identifying a particular bird for a project. This appears to be some sort of aquatic bird, probably some sort of gull, sighted in Norway last June. Video linked below, thanks! https://www.dropbox.com/s/c37ljejukthhkfv/LibraryOfGod.Birds.12.19.17.2.mov?dl=0
  2. Cinema bird

Correct! The clip I posted is the best example I can find of the bird, with the least dialogue overlapping it.
  3. Cinema bird

Hey folks, it's my third time posting. I'm a cinema sound designer, and every now and then I feel the need to match a bird for authenticity. This particular clip was recorded in Burns, Oregon during the first week of September. Any help is much appreciated, thanks!! https://www.dropbox.com/s/p8t1b3bjujd79vr/OregonBird.wav
  4. Hey, second time posting. I'm a film sound designer, and every now and then I come across a bird situation that warrants accuracy. This time, I've got a closeup B-roll of a bird, it'd be great to know what it is so I can pull a sound!
  5. Central PA Bird

Thanks guys! Looking back, crow does seem obvious but hey im not messiaen over here. I'll be sure to stop by when I've got more scenarios like this in the future
  6. Central PA Bird

Hey all, first post! I'm a film sound designer, and I need to know what a particular bird is. However, all I have is a sound file - no picture. The bird was recorded during the winter in Scranton PA, right on a big lake. Knowing what it is will let me work it into the soundscape in a really authentic way. Thanks! 47C-Z2N5_11-68.wav
