    Baby bird ?

We have two of these in our yard. They act as if learning to fly. They are a little bigger than a sparrow.

    Hawk? Eagle?

https://www.flickr.com/photos/73981654@N04/23461077971/ Don't laugh but I would like to know if this is a hawk or possibly an eagle. It's head looks white but the picture is very blurry. By the time I got the camera out it was too high up. We live at the base of the San Bernardino mountains California and there are eagles at Silverwood and Big Bear lakes. Taken December 5 .
  9. Which hawk is this and How can I tell? I tried to show different aspects but some are not to clear. https://www.flickr.com/photos/73981654@N04/15611078497/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/73981654@N04/15611075967/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/73981654@N04/15610413149 https://www.flickr.com/photos/73981654@N04/15797810302

    cute baby bird

Thans, we have a lot of house finches but this litle one just sat while I watered the garden. I didn't see it at first. No sign of the hawk which usually causes them yp freeze.

    Allen's or Rufous Hummingbirds

Thanks a lot. This many of the hummingbirds did not leave probably because of the very warm winter. We always have Anna's but this year we had Anna's, Costa's and what I believe was Allen's. Then we had an influx of new rusty hummers and I didn't know if they were also Allen's or were Rufous.
  13. Are these Allen's or Rufous hummingbirds and how can I tell? San Diego bird

We saw this bird in Black's canyon San Diego. Sunday March 23. Can you identify it? Thanks http://www.flickr.com/photos/73981654@N04/

From this tiny blurry photo can anyone tell if it is an eagle. There was a lot of noise and high up was ahuge flock of seagulls swirling around. We are inland. A large bird was circling above them. We are in San Bernardino CA. Lake Silverwood is close and Big Bear lake is about 7000 ft above us.
