What kind of sparrow is this?

Is it possible that white-crowned and golden-crowned are hanging together? they were acting like one brood ... all juveniles ... but when someone was passing by they would keep close to each other.
  4. These are spotted in Bothell, WA few days ago. https://flic.kr/s/aHsmdQ1aG2 All pictures in this album are the same bird, or I want to say - same flock. They were all together grazing on grass. They did not show any interest in the songs of White-Crowned or Gold-Crowned or Song Sparrows which led me to confusion. Please help me identify these Thank you.

  9. Hello guys, Spring is starting to make its way and birds are getting more active. I got out to the park here in Washington state (Seattle area). When I uploaded my pictures I have noticed some differences between the birds I initially thought to be all Song Sparrow. I have read few posts online but I am still uneasy to make final decisions here... Here is the link to my album with the birds I am confused about: https://flic.kr/s/aHskvTj2Gq There are 16 photos from 3 different parks (all local). Can someone please take a look and tell me if these all are Song Sparrows? Thank you in advance!

  13. Hi, I was wondering, why some birds respond to their own call and some birds careless? For example if I play White Crowned Sparrow call they quickly gather around with curiosity while it does not work for Black Capped Chickadee for example. Does this have to do with being territorial or something? Thank you.
