  1. Plover, sandpiper?

    Thank you.
  2. Plover, sandpiper?

Saw these birds on the causeway headed to antelope Island on the Great Salt Lake in Northern Utah. I think the bird in the single bird photo is the same as the larger birds in the other photo. In the photo containing the several birds, I have no idea what any of them are. I do know that birds that are rare here have been seen in this area the last few days. https://www.flickr.com/gp/148037579@N02/nP9kX8 https://www.flickr.com/gp/148037579@N02/i4GP2W

  4. Any idea?

Saw this bird in Kelso Washington last week. It seems like I should know what it is. https://www.flickr.com/gp/148037579@N02/UJ105V
  5. Type of sparrow?

I can see it now. Thanks.
  6. Lesser Yellowlegs????

I agree with greater yellow legs. The slight curve in the bill indicates it too. If it makes you feel any better, I spent the morning at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge in northern Utah this morning trying to convince myself that every greater yellow legs I saw was a lesser. Wasn't able to do it. I haven't seen a lesser yellow legs yet this year.

  11. Bewick's Wren?

Saw this bird this morning in Kelso Washington. At first I thought it was a nuthatch but the beak is too long. So now I'm thinking maybe a Bewick's Wren? https://www.flickr.com/gp/148037579@N02/7663hE
  12. Vireo or maybe a warbler?

Thank you. As a side note, I just ran the picture through the Merlin app using the photo ID function and it ID'd it as a hermit thrush. Impressive.
