I don't know how many of y'all use Flickr but I know several people do. I use it, and have for several years. I've always thought it was one of the best off-site resources to post pictures on here. Within the last few days, however, I have gotten 3 or 4 notices of someone new following me on Flickr, and when I clicked on them it shows,.... er...shall we say...rather racy photos that they have supposedly posted in their photo stream on Flickr. I immediately blocked them as a follower. I was wondering if any of y'all who use Flickr have experienced this, and if so, do you know how to report it.

Yes, I have unfortunately experienced this, if any of the pictures violate the 'do nots' on this page, then you can scroll to the bottom of the page, and click 'report abuse'. If it isn't illegal, just inappropriate, then you can flag the photo (the setting is under additional info). These people are just looking for 'followbacks', hoping that you will follow them because they followed you. It's annoying, but if you block them you shouldn't see them anymore. As you gain more followers, it gets more common, as these accounts will look through people following them or people they follow, and send requests to all of their connections.

Thanks, egosnell. Pretty much what I suspected. I just wondered why all of a sudden I was getting these "followers".

I thought maybe it was because of my great photography!!! :P
