black bird from Buton Island, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia

This is my first time posting. I hope I have the correct forum.

I'm interested in identifying the bird in the uploaded image. It appears to have a relatively large black eye; plumage is mostly black except for some yellow and white visible in the vent area. We enconutered it midday perched on a bare branch at the top of a tree in somewhat open garden land. (The tree is Bombax ceiba, which is usually leafless at this time of year.) When it flew off, it took up the same position in a different tree. I can't repeat it's entire call, but it ended on two low notes and a high note: ju - ju - chee.

This picture was taken on 16 October 2017, which is in the middle of the dry season on Buton Island. The image is not the clearest but the best we could manage.

Welcome to WhatBird! I moved your post to the World Birds thread. It won't drop out of sight as quickly here and hopefully someone will be able to help you with your ID. It's a lovely bird!
