Wait for psweet. Those things look too much like Triatoma genus to me and scare my bejeebers all out.

Actually, with that odd red spot on the wings, I'm not sure it matches any species of Triatoma, but I'm *very* curious to know what it is.

Suggested id on bugguide is Rasahus biguttatus. Finally starting to see some interesting stuff as it warms up.

Oh, how very cool!  I had never heard of that.  It's certainly distinctive!  I hope to see one some day.  Do you happen to remember where you saw him?

It was in one of our shrimp baskets, but I don't know if it flew into our boat while we were on the water or it was in our boat shed.
