"Rare Birds Near me" Explore Map

Recommended Posts

Hello birders, please help!

I came across a map a while back much like eBird's explore map, that gave the refine option for rare birds. I had just downloaded a few free bird apps & was looking on everything in a rush to figure out where to go. I have looked everywhere and can't find it. Does this sound familiar to anyone? It's making mew crazy!

Thanks,

Alexis

You used to be able to do something similar in the audubon app, but the last update killed it. It was definitely the best feature in that app. It really a shame they killed it.

Maybe that's where I saw it. I can't remember and nothing looks familiar. Thank you so much.

BirdsEye NA has notable and Rare within a distance you set.  You also have the option to show birds you need on your Life List.  Notable is rare around you, Rare shows ABA rare birds.
