Reflection pictures

Oh, that is so adorable. Weird to see the baby of a bird I see often around my wetlands. I immediately put what I know to be a Stilt on the face of that bird, then did a double-take at the thick legs.

You cannot see the entire reflection in this shot but this juvenile redbird obviously was able to see herself and looks a bit shocked by what she sees!

I don't know about you - but I resemble that remark!

Here's a really poor picture of a lesser yellowlegs from a really hot day at the ocean...

But I did get three lifers on the day - red-throated loon (odd time of year for it to be here) spotted and solitary sandpipers.
