I think this is a great idea for a thread that everyone will be able to contribute to. I do see one problem though. As the pages of pictures quickly grows, it is going to become harder and harder to keep track of what has and hasn't already been posted. One solution to this would be to keep a current list of all birds already posted in each new post. With each new post, the list can be copied/quoted and the new bird added to the bottom of the list. When viewing the most current post, the list will show all birds posted so far and make it easy to determine what not to add and thus reducing the chance of duplication. Now, in order to do this, someone will have to go back to the beginning and start the list to bring it up to date. I would offer to do that, but I don't have the time right now. If someone has the time to list all the birds posted so far, and include instructions to repost the modified list with each new post, it'll make it easier to keep track of the "list". I know that I for one, am not going to want to revisit every picture in a multi-page thread everytime I want to see if I can add a new bird to the list. I can see this thread growing to a great many pages very quickly, if we don't get a list started while it's still relatively small, trying to keep track of our "list" is going to be nearly impossible. Just a thought, that I hope someone else with more time will help implement.

I'm here to do that if you need me to! I'd be happy to help out.
