Red-shouldered Hawk.

Her name is Pierce. She lost her other eye in an accident. She's called Pierce because of the piercing gaze she gives you with her remaining eye...

cany, I'm guessing you mean the Turkey Vulture....it was in hand........hehehe I cheat. It was at an educational clinic about them. If you look, you can see how the wing on the left isn't quite right. Super cool birds in my opinion. Not the prettiest, but are great "clean up" birds.

It stared at me a long while before I noticed it.... all those tiny concealing branches are annoying! I was determined to get the face though. Cooper's Hawk I'm guessing.

He/she didn't let me keep him from eating his/her meal, though. Downed every last bite of it!!
