My cardinal couple friends suffering from mites, probably.  I'm not a big cardinal fan.  They lack the personality of some other songbirds, in my opinion, but this couple always shows up when I feed the birds at one location.  None of the other birds in that spot (including the blue jays) are bald-headed.

I've got a group of 7-8 cardinals hanging around lately.  It's funny how different they all look because of their age, molting, or whatever.

Bad pics thru a tinted window . It was fun watching the feeding frenzy.  The babies are as big as the adults but twice as noisy.

I coulda taken the exact same picture yesterday, if there had been enough light.  The cardinals are out in numbers this week.  I guess lots of fledglings have multiplied the usual numbers of them.  The deer are multiplying too :)  Looked out the window a couple of nights ago and saw about 20 cardinals and 8 deer, including a buck.  Makes me think Fall is right around the corner...yea!

Saw untold numbers of Cardinals today, but had to stop and take a pic of a couple of them. They're getting over their molt and looking brilliant for winter.  My eye can't help but be drawn to them :)

I do too, sometimes, LOL :)  They are my nuisance bird, if I had one :)  There are just so many of them and they eat a lot, hogging the feeders from the little guys sometimes.
